Rachel Phillips

Rachel Phillips joined the Locked On Jaguars squad show in July, 2026. Rachel is also the weekend sports anchor and reporter at First Coast News in Jacksonville where she covers the Jaguars as well as the Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles and all high school sports.

In 2019, Rachel came to the United States to get her Master’s in Sports Journalism from Arizona State University (Forks Up!), and nearly seven years later, she is still here! She is originally from Australia and still wakes up at all hours of the night to watch her favorite rugby team – the Melbourne Storm.

Before moving to Jacksonville, Rachel was a weekend sports anchor and reporter in both Memphis, Tennessee (WATN) and El Paso, Texas (KVIA). She began her career at KVIA as a weekend morning anchor, producer and reporter.

During her time in El Paso, Rachel also spent two seasons as a sideline reporter and in-game host for El Paso Locomotive FC. She spent a season providing color commentary for UTEP Women’s Basketball and was the national radio sideline reporter for several Sun Bowls.

The only thing Rachel loves more than sports is Diet Coke! If you see her without one, you might want to check on her!
