Locked On Huskers host Derrick “DP” Pearson is a sportscaster, radio and television host, writer, sports executive, and high school coach. Pearson is the owner of KNTK-FM in Lincoln and the co-host of “Old School with Jay Foreman” on 93.7, The Ticket. He’s also a two-time Tedx speaker and an Amazon best-selling author of “The Impact of Influence-Rebuilt Through Recovery Black Man Love, Concrete Connections and the Winning Mindset”. He’s traveled nationwide, including stops in Washington, DC, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Atlanta and now Lincoln, Nebraska, which he calls home. In addition to his media and coaching ventures, he established the NFL Charity, Fat Guy Charities in Charlotte and LovePrints, a national mentor program that promotes loving and learning through sports.
