Aaron Ladd

Aaron comes to ‘Locked on Chiefs’ by way of Atlanta, Georgia — where he worked as Weekend Sports Anchor at Atlanta News First, covering the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Georgia Bulldogs and much more.

Before moving to Atlanta in 2024, Ladd spend four years with KSHB 41-TV in Kansas City, following the Chiefs’ back-to-back Super Bowl title run and much more.

Aaron graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism in May 2018. While in school he worked as a news reporter at KOMU 8, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri and lead intern for ZOUNation Magazine.

Upon graduation, Aaron served as a Digital Journalist for WMBF News in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina — covering sports, news and manning the digital desk.

A graduate of Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia, Aaron’s fire for journalism and communication sparked early, serving as editor-in-chief for the student newspaper.

Aaron is also a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists and considers himself an ‘NABJ baby’, growing up inside the organization and earning a national scholarship in 2014.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys going to concerts, running clubs and beer.
